Home Utd 9 Sembawang 2
The score line says it all...The referee is obviously out to add salt into the wound on Sembawang. Giving a yellow card earlier in the 1st half to Aziz Salim for a simple foul is really ridiculous. And when he was sent off in the 2nd half, Home utd fans rubbed it in by singing "goodbye..."...Nevermind, lets see what happens for Sleague in the future...
Cumpee started well and was rewarded by scoring his 1st goal for the club. A left foot curl found the corner of the net. But he missed at least 3 very good chances. Especially when the score was still 3-1, if he had taken his chance, it would narrow the gap and the match would be different.
I guess everything now is inevitable. Some of the players simply just give up. Is that what they want the Sembawang fans to remember?

I am totally disappointed after seeing tonight match. First of all, I am thinking of whether should I travel to Bishan for this match as this match does not seems to have any significant. If we manage to beat HU, others will think that, "aiyah, HU win champion liao, and they field second string player, that's why lose" But if we were to lose, people will say "Sembawang can't even beat a half strength HU" Little did I expect Rangers to lose by such a margin and in such a manner.
At the start of the match, both set of players were not taking this match seriously at all, the HU players were simply passing the ball ard and hope for some opening. Rangers on the other packed a six man defense, but they didn't seems interested in this game either. From the way things are going on the field, I had a strange feeling, but I dunno what feeling is that, but as the match went on, I know what feeling that is, it is a feeling that Rangers is going to be hammered . I had the same feeling when Rangers were hammer 9-0 by SAF at CCK.
Thru out the matchI can say the team seperate into two faction, one is the local backline faction, they did not care about this game. The lack concentration, no sense of urgency at all, I really doubt their sense of professionism. Some were simply standing there like idiot. If they want to watch the ball, do it on the stand and pass his jersey to a fan and I think they would fare better. Yazid had the worst game of the season. I believe he should take responsiblity for most of the game as he did not make an attempt to save the ball in some of the goal.
Some fans were again saying Rangers were Kelong and players were betting on 9 goasl, I as a die hard Rangers fans, I would always stood by the team and have believes in the players, but their performance tonight make me want to reconsider my stand. I think they may be placing the bet as some realised they would be out of job in 4 more match and it is able time to have some fund to tide them over those days and HU would be the best team to excute out this 9 goals for them.
The other faction of players were the attacking faction, they know they need to account to the fans and keep on trying to score as many goal as possible to make the scoreline more respectable. They were Cumpee, Supakit , Tawan and Kamsan. Cumpee were hardworking and display some good skills, but both he and Supakit really need more shooting preactise and Tawan looks a bit off color tonight, but still as committed as ever.
Some other points to add, when we were losing by 4-5 goal that point of time, I am thinking why didn't the coach bring on the sub keeper. I think at that point of time, losing is a fact to us already, it is only a question of how many goal we lose by, so why not give the other keeper a try and let him gain some experience and Yazid is not comfortable in goal. Also why did the coach deploy No.8 who is a striker as a left back? I think he got Ronald No.2 in the making, he is such a crap. No matter how he pass the ball, it will always end up on the feet of a HU players.
Yes, I understand at this point of time, Rangers plung to the lowest point ever in our history, with the punching incident still looming, there are people who simply can't stand Sembawang and want them out of sight asap, and after the recent losing streak, what the team need now is support from fans, but does their performace on the field justify our support? we give in our 100% support but did they reciprocate by giving 100% on the field? Rangers going to sit out next yr is not a reason for them to slack and some more this is yet to be confirm. Instead they should perform even better so that other club would take them in when Rangers really sit out next yr. At the same time, give the fans a wonderful last 4 match that they will remember for life.
So come on Rangers, bring out the best of you in the final 4 match of the season.

I hope from next match onwards against Jurong the players will show to the fans that our support is worthwhile until what is probably the final match in Sleague for Sembawang at home against Woodlands.
