What a wonderful result. Perhaps the best result achieved on a season full of lows. And the performance was totally outstanding. So many chances were created in the 1st half that Sembawang could have taken a 4-0 lead. Cumpee, Supakit and Pitipong all missed before Tawan scored. Cumpee was running through 1 on 1 with the Tampines goalkeeper running out to cover the angle. Cumpee managed to round the goalie but the Tampines defenders were back defending the line and angle. He side foot the ball to Tawan who made a feint before shooting it to the top corner. Finally all the affort paid off. 1-0 lead at HT. 2nd half start off with Tampines doing most of the attack but Sembawang defence hold firm. But then Ibrahim Noh was sent off in the 60min for a last ditch tackle to prevent Tampines player from getting away on the flank. I was feeling the worse and I thought " here goes again" for Sembawang...But the defence held firm and substitue Norfahazly Kamsan scored a beautiful curler to the top corner during injury time to settle the match. After the match, ex-Sembawang boys Noh Alam Shah, Satria Mad and Ismail Fitrey went to the Sembawang bench and shake hands with every Sembawang players and the Sembawang fans even did the usual cheer of "ooh-ah-alam shah!" and the player applaud the fans...And as usual, the Sembawang fans also stay back to cheer the team. p.s. blossom was so busy smsing throughout the whole match...wonder if she knows what is going on during the match... ;D

Just like to say that Tawan is still the best Sembawang player of all time...his skill reminds me of Zidane and that moment when he beat 4 Tampines players surrounding marking him with a terrific turn, with pace and close ball control, bringing the ball with him and set himself free to attack Tampines goal...I hope those non-Sembawang and Tawan fans who attended the match will realise why Tawan is held in such a high regard in the hearts of Sembawang fans...

agree with you, Rangers, on Tawan...to me, he's the best foreigner Semb ever had, other then Milomir....
To me, Blossom Heroes are the greatest in my heart, and except for one person, no other player can ever match Blossom Heroes, not even David Beckham or Ronaldo......
....and this one person is Tawan Sripan.
