Personally, based on what Beckham has said, there is nothing wrong in putting family in his first place, follow by football. Alex Ferguson already has a biased impression on Beckham ever since he married Victoria and to Alex, everything is about winning, winning for Man Utd and if anyone does not have the same mentality, that person is out. And of course ever since Beckham became England captain, he has more responsibility towards England as well as handling his family, private and public life, and Man Utd. Alex Ferguson wants Beckham's life to be revolve around Man Utd and the rest is secondary, which is not possible for Beckham. So basically this is a conflict of interest, a conflict of having a different mindset in life and career.
